At Design Miami/, design and commerce are brought together, and has become the premier venue for collecting, exhibiting, discussing and creating collectible design. Influential collectors, gallerists, designers, curators and critics from around the world make the most of what the fairs, and the cities they grace, have to offer.

PREVIEW DAY JUNE 15
We’re delighted to continue our third year as media partner for the renowned design fair and global forum for design event, Design Miami/. This year celebrating their monumental 10 Year Anniversary in Basel. Gerrit Rietveld (designed in 1930) at Galerie VIVID space (Rotterdam) at Design Miami/ 2015.
At Sarah Myerscough Gallery, pieces by designer OYUNA are on display, from her SOFT//EDGE collection where the brand collaborated with StudyO Portable and Peter Marigold. Here the cashmere items are displayed in Marigold’s “Bleed Wardrobe” at DesignMiami/ Basel. Made from cedar wood, the material deters moths (great for knits especially cashmere) and showcases a beautiful drip from the steel hardware. Incredibly thoughtful and individual design.
SarahMyerscoughGallery exhibit the work of Peter Marigold. An incredible design inspired by a Japanese workers bench – made from Hiba Japanese Cyprus wood, CNC lasered and hand cut, completed with an Igusa (woven grass) top. Want and need!
The program of scheduled talks at DesignMiami/ Basel are always a highlight – such as the current talk in real time with Tony Chambers (Editor in Chief of Wallpaper) and the Swarowski Designers of the Future Award 2015 Winners (Tomas Alonso, Elaine Yan Ling Ng and Studio Swine). The designers provide insight into their process, materials used and execution.
