The cosmetic and pharmaceuticals-inspired culinary experience unlike no other, Ffrench Pharmaceuticals presents edible eye shadow and lip gloss, an innovation in food design and dining.
Created by Isamaya Ffrench, the visionary creative and make-up artist extraordinaire, in partnership with East London eaterie Bistrotheque,
Ffrench Pharma presented their first sitting in London last year and welcomed a second edition in Hong Kong yesterday supported by QIC GRE.
Challenging our perceptions in food design and the possibility of ingredients and innovation, Ffrench Pharma presented 17 edible menu items including ’24 Carrot Gold Face Mask’, ‘Miso Caramel Foundation’, ‘Celeriac Face Scrub’, and ‘Chocolate Chili Glitter Lipstick’, the latter made from just white chocolate, cocoa butter and chili.
As each menu item was cautiously presented to guests by lab coat-wearing, masked waiters with dubiously coloured eyes, you couldn’t help but feel like perhaps you are indeed the subject being examined… An unforgettable evening.
