London Collections: Men | COTTWEILER x Sang Bleu

With so many AW14 Mens Collections exhibiting this week in London, you either go to all, or a select few. Alexander McQueen, Mr Hare, Christopher Kane, Paul Smith Christopher Raeburn, J.W. Anderson. All the British designers are here and ready to show you their works. Last night we opted for an alternative on the Fashion Week agenda.

Cottweiler are a British label, run by Ben Cottrel and Matthew Dainty.

Based on practical sportswear, they mix unconventional luxe materials to create their signature simple aesthetics.

Held in the basement of the newly established Sang Bleu and joint Cottweiler studio, their AW14 collaborative collection was shown.

Models were the type of boy you’ll find in South London; short hair accompanied by a black uniform, usually with a rolled cigarette and an attitude that says ——–. They’re so down they don’t need to say anything, as they are definitely cuter than any boy in the Jonathan Saunders show.

Guests were a mix of individuals from various creative backgrounds, confirming the strong following each brand already has, respectively.

With their collaboration with tattoo/fashion/lifestyle magazine Sang Bleu, the brand is definitely one to keep your eyes on. We’re already fans, that’s for sure.
