Akio Nagasawa Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo, presents the extraordinary photographs, architectural sketches
and scaled reinforced concrete models of Japanese architect Tadao Ando.
Not only does Tadao Ando remain a master of architecture and space championing the harmony between nature and design, the exhibition also showcases the rare photography of Ando presenting his skilled eye.
Focussing on his renowned builds such as Row House in Sumiyoshi, Rokko Complex in Kobe, and the Chichu Museum on Naoshima Island – it presents the architects work in an art-form context, where viewers are invited to carefully inspect his hand drawn architectural sketches and connect his photographic talent with that of his very own buildings.
