TOKYO’S #BLACKNIGHTRUN | AFE TOKYO X CHAMP
You would have seen in our previous posts, we invited all global run crews for their involvement
in the “BLACK NIGHT RUN” on Wednesday 30th July, 9pm (each time zone).
Themed Black, all runners were invited to wear their darkest colours with reflectors,
and run their city in a new light.
In Tokyo, AFE_Tokyo runners & Champ Fam met at Bunka Onsen in Ikejiri-Ohashi, where bags were left in lockers.
Stretching and a de-brief then began a few strides away at Ohashi Junction.
The debrief included an intro to the new Genealogy of Free Black Pack,
set for release the following day (Thursday 31 July, 2014)
(available at Worldwide Nike Lab Stores, Nike.com/nikelab and Dover Street Market Ginza)
The run was casually paced, and led through central Shibuya crossing – through the bright city lights & pedestrians crossing -
up through Aoyama and notably past Herzog & de Meuron’s PRADA building, and Blue Note Jazz bar.
A big thankyou to Kensuke Hara and Jun Hirano (AFE_Tokyo) for leading the group,
and a big thanks to all runners involved!
Thank you – all photos taken by Ryosuke (rkrkrk)
Thank you for Sunshine Juice for keeping the crew hydrated.
RUN YOUR CITY.
