Champ Issue #7 at Doomsday Store – MELBOURNE LAUNCH

To celebrate the launch of Champ Magazine latest Issue #7 dropping in Australia, Champ paired up with new cult store Doomsday to bring the good crew in Melbourne together.

Doomsday is a new local spot for good wares, and even good coffee with a side kiosk. Ed Davis (The Heavy Mental) heads the well-curated and knowledgeable new shop which only opened it’s doors a few months ago.

We were more than excited to celebrate Issue #7  in Melbourne, as Champ is now a London & Tokyo-based independent print publication. Still focussing on longevity, and aiming to capture and highlight the champions of contemporary culture, introducing the leaders in the game whos creations acts as a catalyst to the next.

With a brilliant turnout of local creative friends and family, that is the beauty of culture and a worldwide community of like-minded folk and creative crew.

Champ Fam in Melbourne hosted the event, with Melbourne photographer Ben Clement, arts writer Hilary Sadek, and fashion contributor Olivia Davies at the helm. With only the best vinyl playing, records brought were encouraged by graphic designer Rob Cordiner, and Spares Store owner Hugo Hubbard. The beautiful floral sculpture was created by artist Wona Bae!

A big thank you to all, and particularly Doomsday StoreSailor Jerry Rum & Champ Fam in Melbourne.

Champ Issue #7 is available online, or through hand-selected premium stores, boutiques, museums & galleries.
