Independent Photography Festival
2-10 November, 2013
The Independent Photography Festival is the annual celebration of Independent Photography, its application, and practice.
One of the most exciting events in Melbourne, on a remarkably well-curated international scale.
An initiative of Hard Workers Club, and produced alongside Smalltime Projects and The Thousands Melbourne, the IPF2013 program will follow on from the inaugural event, comprised of a series of exhibition openings featuring Australian Photographers, the IPF Photo Book & Zine Fair, and the IPF Photo Prize – the largest internationally open, prints-based photography exhibition and competition in Australia, utilising the best of what Melbourne has to offer as host for these events.
IPF hopes to bring together the living, breathing artists and creatives that form the lifeblood of our diverse and inclusive discipline to reclaim photography for the hard-working, autonomous, passionate, and progressive photographers, creating for the love of shooting and shooting for the love of creating.
